Checklist For Magazine Conventions

These are the conventions that I must have on my magazine front cover:

v  The master head

v  The sky line

v  The movie website

v  A puff

v  A quotation

v  A tagline

v  A plug

v  A cover image

v  Issue number

v  A made up barcode

v  Some anchorage  text

v  A sell line

v  The date

v  The price

v  Depending on genre, bright or dark colours

When chosen a similar magazine to analysis, then do a questionnaire and find out what that age group like and dislike about the magazine front cover. The data that I collect, I will add to my design to ensure the magazine front cover looks as good and as real as possible.
